Spindle lift platforms – always at the right height

A subsequent further development complementary of proven hydraulic lift platforms from LAWECO. Particularly in sensitive areas, such as the automotive or chemical industry, they offer a whole series of convincing advantages:

Without hydraulic oil
A very special and modern alternative to a hydraulic lift platform.

Precision down to a millimetre
Heights moved to with millimetre precision are maintained one hundred percent.

Minimum maintenance time and cost
The use of low-wear components reduces maintenance time and costs to
a minimum.

FAQ - Spindle lifting tables

A spindle lifting table is an electromechanical scissor lifting table in which a lifting spindle installed horizontally between the scissors spreads the scissor system, generating the lifting and lowering movement. Spindle lifting tables are characterised by good load change behaviour and high positioning accuracy. They are frequently used in sensitive areas where hydraulic fluids are undesirable.

Learn more

Spindle lifting tables are frequently equipped with self-locking spindle drives such as trapezoidal spindles, which will not drop due to their dead weight or loads placed on them in the event of a power failure or malfunction. However, ball screws are also sometimes used, particularly for higher speeds and more frequent operating cycles. These are not self-locking. In this case an additional trap nut is installed behind the guide nut to stop the lowering movement in the event of a malfunction. Safety catching cylinders can also be installed on request. Just as in hydraulic in-line lifting tables, crushing hazards caused by the lowering movement can be prevented using safety contact rails, electronic components or bellows.
Due to their favourable load cycle behaviour, spindle lifting tables are highly suitable for complex plants that require extreme accuracy. In particular, the rebound behaviour often observed in hydraulic lifting tables during load changes is not an issue for spindle lifting tables. In conjunction with electronic distance measuring systems, these lifting tables achieve a high positioning accuracy. Spindle lifting tables are also used by the food industry and in hygiene applications where hydraulic oil cannot be used.
The time required for service and maintenance work depends strongly on the size of the lift table, its accessibility and, of course, on the extent of maintenance work required. LAWECO offers maintenance packages and long-term maintenance contracts for different services. These services range from lubricating the spindles to replacement of the complete spindle drive and bearings. Ask our service department for a maintenance package tailored to your lift table.
LAWECO offers spindle lifting tables with effective lifting heights of up to approx. 2000 mm. It goes without saying that special solutions with greater effective lifting heights are also available.
The standard load-bearing capacity of LAWECO spindle lifting tables covers loads of up to approx. 3000 kg. However, spindle lifting systems and special solutions with spindle drives can also be used for greater load ranges. Simply contact our technical sales department for advice. We would be glad to develop a customised solution for your application.
